“The Inconvenient Truth About
Waiting for Superman”
Union teachers, students and parents on the frontlines of defending public education in New York City collaborated on this scathing response to the pro-charter documentary “Waiting for Superman”. It exposes the profit-driven and union-busting motives of the charter school movement and what youth, parents and educators really want – well funded and multicultural public schools where student learning and parent involvement are top priority. Discussion will follow the film. What do you think it will take to defend education for all?
