The KPFK Community Advisory Board (CAB) will hold its second organizational meeting on Thursday, June 26, 7:00 p.m. at the KPFK station in the first floor conference room.

The CAB is a Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB) mandated advisory board whose function is to research and prepare a Community Needs Assessment document and advise KPFK management.

We are seeking and requesting the participation of community based and political activist or advocacy organizations in the greater Los Angeles and KPFK signal area to participate in this effort by sending a delegate(s) from their groups to participate in the CAB and contribute to the Community Needs Assessment effort.  We are seeking to create a CAB that is representative of the gender and ethnic diversity within the KPFK signal area. Women and persons of color are encouraged to participate. See you there.
