KPFK Presents Special Election Coverage

KPFK 90.7 FM LAUNCHES 5 DAYS OF SPECIAL ELECTION PROGRAMMING

KPFK 90.7FM Los Angeles (98.7FM Santa Barbara) Progressive Pacifica Radio for all of Southern California continues to cover the 2008 Elections with the latest news, analysis and in depth coverage of the issues. Starting on Saturday November 1st, KPFK will launch five days of special Elections programming covering the candidates, propositions, electronic voting concerns and much more

KPFK announces its programming line up which will include local analysts and political commentators such as; Lila Garrett, Margaret Prescod, Suzi Weisman, Antonio Gonzalez, Nationally recognized correspondents Larry Bensky and Amy Goodman of Democracy Now. Special programming with Roseanne Barr, Johnny Argent and Tom Hayden. Also on our team will be author Gustavo Arrellano of the OC Weekly syndicated column “Ask a Mexican” and local community activist Earl Ofari Hutchinson. Tune in during KPFK’s 5 day marathon of Election programming as we cover this historic election season with news, hard-hitting analysis and commentary with a progressive twist.
