| KPFK Radio is in the process of formally constituting the Community Advisory Board for our station. This board is charged with making regular assessments of our station’s programming and administrative policies and giving us feed-back on how well we are doing in meeting community needs. While this advisory board does not actually make policy, it is a crucial channel through which the station management and our elected local board will seek to hear from a diversity of community voices. |
|
The KPFK Community Advisory Board (or CAB) will be sponsoring a series of public forums and speak-outs, as well as regular meetings between now and January 1st, 2012. We invite our listeners and community residents within our broadcast area to attend these events and participate in our discussions. If you would like to be considered for a seat on the CAB, or would like to nominate someone for such a position, please contact Kwazi Nkrumah at 213-884-5190, or by email at CAB@kpfk.org. Thank you! |
