Alafia this is Sista Zionne with Freedom Now’s agenda for this Tues November 25, 2008. Brotha Dedon will present the African Drumbeat Historical Calendar following Brotha Harold will provide an overview of the up coming films that were chosen to heighten our consciousness of Mother Africa which will be presented at the African Liberation Film Festival at the AFIBA center this weekend.

Then Former Congresswoman and Green Party Presidential candidate Cynthia McKinney will cover two topics 1. Delta airlines stopping her from attending a Palestinian Conference in Damascus Syria last week and she will give an overview of the speech she was to provide as well as an analysis of the Holy Land Foundation recent defeat in the Federal courts and its impact not only on the Palestinian struggle on this the Internatiational Day of Solidarity with the Palestrina people but for all liberation movements. The Holy Land Foundation was the largest Islamic charity in the United States providing practical solutions for human suffering through humanitarian programs that impact the lives of the disadvantage, disinherited and displaced peoples with a focus on the Palestinian refugees in Jordan, Lebanon and the Palestinian territories. They also have provided support to victims after disasters and wars in Bosnia, Kosovo, Turkey as well as in the United States Iowa floods, Texas tornadoes and the Oklahoma City bombing.

. Following Broth Lumumba will address the relevance of Thanks taking for African people and all people of goodwill as well as the upcoming Alcatraz sunrise ceremonies and we will end with an interview with Clyde Bellencourt a founding member of the American Indian Movement. The American Indian Movement is historically the foremost organization fighting for the survival of Indigenous peoples of these United States and it is a proper way for us to prepare for this European savage holiday.
