Hotep this is Sista Arias with Freedom Now a Tues 8-9 pm audio & digital journey into the world of Pan Africanize, a major driving force in the history of the United States as well as in every country of the world where you find people of African ancestry. So here at KPFK we provide that point of view devoid of European censorship. So stay tune for our agenda here at Freedom Now.

                                                            Agenda

Freedom Now agenda for this Tues Dec. 23 2008 will have as our major theme the national question in Belize , the only English speaking, historically African country in Central America. The Bush administration in conjunction with the Guatemalan and Belizean government has set in motion the Webster accord that would annex 50% of Belize to Guatemala in a scheme that historically has been rejected by the masses of Belizean.  In this era of privatization and conquest we will have Bilal Morris from BREDDA to provide a critical analysis of this new development or some say sell out by the Belizean government.

Prior to that live in studio guest  we will have Attorney Malik Zulu Shabazz from the New Black Panther Party who will give us the Black Power point of view in support of Barak Obama. As stated in our prior program there was a town hall meeting last week in Harlem New York with over a 1000 people in attendance on the question “Was Barak Obama election good for Black People. There were 2 sets of panelist pro and con. Last week we heard from Dr. Mel Smith on the con side tonight we will hear from Attorney Malik Zulu Shabazz on the pro side with his presentation entitled Barak Obama and the Black Power Movement.

We will have Dedon Kamathi with the African Drum Beat Historical calendar, and our music mix including: Zap Mama,  R 4 R posse, , Trojan Dub, Olive Factory, Andy Palicio, and Sonny Black, Kemic Xaris e Sigh the Cyclo.

So keep your dial locked turn on your cassette play and remember Tonights program can be reheard for the next 90 days at KPFK.org, Audio Archives button, scroll to Freedom Now.

We thank you for your support during our fund drive and as always we stand Ready For The Revolution

Greetings This is Bilal Morris Belizean journalist:

Tensions in the Belize Guatemalan dispute has moved to critical mass last month with the signing of an insidious agreement by both governments called a compromise that is set to annex half of Belize to Guatemala . Backed up by British betrayal and the treacherous American Webster proposals, the homeland of the people of Belize, both at home and abroad, is at threat. Join me Bilal Morris on Freedom Now with Host Dedan Kamathi, on Tuesday, December 23 from 8-9, pm  to discuss this new assault on Belizean sovereignty and territorial integrity. With unrelenthless support from Cuba,Venezuela and the Caribbean Community in support of Belize’s sovereignty we must  Stop British and U.S. annexation of Belizean land to Guatemalan oligarchies and expansionists. Say No to the Compromise! Say No to the International Court of Justice. That’s Tuesday, December 23 from 8-9 pm on Freedom Now, KPFK, 90.7 FM, Los Angeles.

Freedom Now will also have our global historical calendar of personalities and events that have forward the mass struggle of humanity, raising the Bars prison segment, a spoken word highlighted piece and our Pan African music mix.
