  Tonights edition of Freedom Now will begin with an overview of the largest Black Film Festival in the United States. The Pan African Film Festival right here in Los Angeles. Our in-studio guest will be the Festival producer  Auyku Babu. He will provide a summary of the themes of each film and well as provide passes for screenings and the gala opening. Your contributions are tax deductible for a very elegant and socially engaging film festival.  Dedon will follow with the African Drum Beat historical calendar today the 2nd day of Black History Month.

  Our central theme is the “FBI’s War On Tupac Shakur : and Black Leaders & Artist. Our guest is the author John Potash who has spent over 13 years uncovering the FBI’s campaign to stop the rise of conscious, revolutionary rap music. Whether it is the assassination of Tupac Shakur and campaigns against the Coup, Dead Prez, Wu Tang crew. The list is long in terms of US intelligence agencies offensive against the artist community.  This book focuses on Tupac Shakur and Eso Won Sam and Goopal two young hip-hop heads will co-host tonight’s discussion. John Potash’s FBI war on Tupac and Black Leaders and artist also address the CIA’s links to Reggae Revolutionary Bob Marley and Peter Toshs deaths and their FBI-CIA on own going campaign to sew seeds of discord and warfare among the hip hop community and any musical artist who gain fame by promoting challenges to racism and  imperialism. His DVD and book will be offered as a premium tonight. This is must  for parents , artist and the Hip Hop and Reggae crew.

    KPFK is starting its fund drive and Freedom Now will be soliciting your membership, your support during our program. We will be operating with our normal format with periodic request for donations. Our premiums include: Pan African Film Festiva passes And FBI wars on Tupca Shakur and  Black Leaders a Book or CD. We request a $80 donation for the book and a $60 donation for the CD.
