          Hotep this is Dedon Kamathi with Freedom Nows agenda for this Tues March 23,2010. Our program in order will begin with Brotha Mateef and the Raising the Bars segment address education and the prison industrial complex newest pending by proposal by the terminator. Dedon will provide the African Drum beat historical calendar followed by Brotha JR’s from KPFA our sista station the bay area with an  update on the Oscar Grant trial, his recent trip to Haiti and his upcoming presentation here in Los Angeles. A representative from the Anti Nazi committee will provide an update on planned actions here in Los Angeles. Brotha Legrand Clegg from CEMOTEP the Committee to Eliminate Media Offense to African people will share his recent LA time’s editorial on the role of the media in the production of racist students at UCSD, the racist Tea Party assault against an African US Congressman as well as an overview of the increase media racist assaults on African peoples.  We will close out with an interview with Brotha Merhawi from the International Day of Action  to lift sanctions on Eritrea .These sanctions which will caused mass starvation in the horn of Africa is led by England and passed by the UN security council. Eritrean students worldwide have risen up in protest and we will hear from some of these gallant student organizers.

  Our music mix will include: Zap Mama, Build An Ark, Oz, Trojan Dub, KRS, Follow Your Heart, Rain, Bob Marley and Brand Nubian.

Also special guest Jack Bryson, who's two sons were with Oscar Grant when he was murdered by Johannes Mehserle on New Years morning of 2009, will be with us.
