Hotep in the language of pre-colonial Egypt or Kemet meaning we come in Peace. This is Dedon Kamathi with Freedom Nows agenda for May 4,2010. Our special guest is former Continent to Continent programmer, Pacifica activist Prof. Ron Wilkins . Brotha Ron has been involved with research, travel and living in Central America and will bring a unique perspective on the history of African and Native America relationships what is commonly called Black Brown relations.
Brotha Mateef will bring give us an update on Chip Fitzergerald the longest held Black Panther Political prisoner who has been on a hunger strike for medical care. I will provide the African Drum Beat Historical Calendar and Mike Novick an organizer with Anti Racist Action will give us a synopsis on the recent Anti –Nazi demonstration that was portrayed as a violent attack by the anti-racist on the poor Nazis’. We will have an analysis of the Tea Party from our locked up revolutionary correspondent Mumia Abu Jama.
Our music mix will include Zap Mama, Horace Silver, Bassment, Patrina, Black and Brown collective, Oscar Brown Jr, Scientist at the Dub, Quincy Jones , Morris Day and the Ohio Players with commentaries by Blay Ambouli .
