Freedom Now will continue as is our tradition with the African Drum Beat Historical Calendar where we big up sheroes and heroes. We will follow with Sherna representing the Isreal Divestment Campaign to update us on this International Effort to bring Israel to its economic knees. The Coalition Against The Bombing of Africa recently had a major press conference in DC in response to President Obama’s Remarks on the Situation In Libya.” .The Coalition included a broad cross section from the Peace, Indigeneous –Latino,African,Arab Faith,Student and Youth communities. The ANSWER Coalition, Nation OF Islam, December 12th Movement,International Action Center were some of the speakers
Freedom Now will present Bob Brown from the AAPRP.GC as well as we will have a live interview with former Congress women and Green Party Candidate Cynthia McKinney regarding President Obama presentation. We will play a short clip from Kwame Ture formerly Stokely Carmichael on African people and the US war machine. Our music mix will include Zap Mama, Baaba Maal,Ryko Dub, Invincible, Linovol Thompson, Alreo Martinez, KRS and Irie Love. So as always we stand ready for the revolution.
