Hotep an ancient Pharonic/Kemetic/Egyptian greetings means to be at peace with the god within and nature. This host Dedon Kamathi with Freedom Now agenda for this Saturday April 16, 2011. We commence with the African Drum Beat historical calendar a social activist energizer, which seeks to increase the momentum of our historical campaign to eliminate racism, sexism and class chauvinism. We will follow with a short piece by Malcolm X on self esteem, critical in this era of mass Eurocentric conforminityTej will provide our regular “did you know” commentary on the African presence in Latin America.
Our central theme will be the nuclear disaster in Fukushima Japan with a critical analysis by Keith Harmon Snow and investigative reporter. The popular mainstream media has promoted the view that this is a Japanese manageable disaster. Yet many sources indicate that this part of a massive cover-up. We as Africans on the west coast of the US, as well as in Africa, New Zealand, South Pacific Island, Papua and West Papua New Guinea and the largest population of Black people in any country in the world India. Are directly affected by this level 7 x 4 disaster. Hence we will seek this evening to provide some background and analysis to better equip our people, all people to another point of view of what is turning out to become the worst nuclear disaster in history.
