Agenda
Chimuerenga which is the Shona word for "struggle" struggle against all oppression. It is a Shona concept that grew out of the continued culture of liberation of the people of Zimbabwe. I am Dedon Kamathi and tonight we will address the 3rd Chimuerenga of the peoples of Zimbabwe .The Ist Chimuernga being from 1896 to 1898 against British colonialism . The 2nd Chimuenga being against the Ian Smith UDI settler colonial regime from 1966 to 1989 and the third being the present struggle against neo-colonialism. We will have the Zimbabwe Herald correspondent for the US Obi Egbuna as well as the Ambassador of Zimbabwe Machizenyiki Mapuranga.
