This is Dedon Kamathi with Freedom Now’s  agenda for April 22,2008.As is our tradition we will have our raising the Bars Prison segment with Brotha Mateef updating us on critical political prisoner struggles so that we many never forget those who have given so much to our people.We will follow with the African Drum Beat historical calendar design to decolonized our minds and provide a better vision than the US has to offer.

 Our two central themes tonight are based on upcoming presentations here in Los Angeles area this weekend. Our first guest is Dr. Walter Williams who is well known in the African communities of the USAncientEgyptian Museum in Chicago. His central thesis is that there is no historical nor scientific evidence for the existence of Jesus Christ. Obviously a controversial notion. He is one of the many speakers at the Black Writers on Tour conference this Saturday at the LAX Crown Plaza Hotel for his original research on the historical origins of Christianity and Islam. Our 2nd theme is a interview with the Director Gregory Evertt of the film 41th and Central” The History of the Southern California Chapter of the Black Panther Party” All to often the history of the BPP is the history of the Oakland chapter when in fact there were dozens of BPP chapters throughout the US. This film will be screened this Friday at UCLA Melinitz hall at 8 pm. Free Free Free and we are inviting our supporters to attend.
