The movie FADOS opens at the Laemmle Theatres for this acclaimed film by Carlos Saura: FADOS beginning Friday May 22nd 2009.  For the past two years, FADOS has been receiving worldwide acclaim at film festivals and it's finally coming to LA. FADOS includes performances by Portugal's Mariza, Spain's Miguel Poveda, Mexico's Lila Downs, Brazil's Caetano Veloso and Chico Buarque, Cape Verde's Lura, among others.
