Downtown on Ice” is back for it’s 14th year in Pershing Square, where the coolest fun gets underway on LA’s biggest outdoor rink. And it’s not just skating! There is a medley of FREE community events to keep you in the holiday spirit with the Winter Holiday Festival (with Santa and his “live” reindeer, snow, and make & take crafts), the “12 Nights of Christmas” concert series, Menorah Lighting, Kwanzaa Celebration, “It’s Christmas, Snoopy” showcase, and more. Downtown on Ice is accessible by car, bus or Metro and the fun is just waiting! There is a nominal admission and skate rental and special hours on Christmas, New Years Day and Martin Luther King Day. 18 and over LGBT people this is for you! Every thursday is TigerHeat at the Avalon in Hollywood. This is the largest weekly 18 and over LGBT event on the West Coast. There are weekly drawings for theme related prized and special guest performances every week! Hosted by KIIS FM’s Dave Styles and LA Drag Diva Ingenue with DJ Ray Rhodes twisting all your favorite song and videos! David Dean Botrell presents the final two performances of his one mans brilliant on man show, “Make Love” this Wednesday and Thursday at the Rogue Machine Theatre. Botrell shares universal, oddball, HILARIOUS, BIZARRE, and yes, COMPLETELY TRUE STORIES all having to do with love. If you have ever gone on a date, this show will make you laugh. Curtain is at 8:00. The Gay and Lesbian Center of Los Angeles presents “40 Years of Family” a multi-media exhibit celebrating the center’s 40th anniversary you the beautiful, amazing and diverse LGBTQQIA family. Also included is a separate timeline putting the spotlight on the 30 years of service people living with HIV and AIDS. Gallery hours are M - F 6-9:30, Saturdays 9 a.m. to 5 pm. The Gay Men’s Chorus of Los Angeles presents, “Naughty & Nice” their holiday concert performance, this Saturday at 8 and Sunday at 3 at the Alex Theatre in Glendale. Laemmle Theatres is pleased to present their popular annual Christmas Eve sing-along screening of FIDDLER ON THE ROOF on December 24th at 7:30 pm at the Music Hall in Beverly Hills.
