Dr. Armando Navarro is professor of Ethnic Studies at the University of California, Riverside. He is the author of several books and articles and has been a leading national voice in defense of immirgant rights. He joins us this morning to discuss his latest book, The Immigration Crisis: Nativism, Armed Vigilantism, and the Rise of a Countervailing Movement.

Dr. Nelson Lichtenstein is a professor of history at the University of California, Santa Barbara where he directs the Center for the Study of Work, Labor, and Democracy. He recently published an essay on the Chicago factory sit-in on CNN.com and he joins us this morning to provide an assessment the workers’ occupation of Republic Windows and Doors in Chicago.
