April Washington is a staff reporter that covers the Colorado State Legislature for the Rocky Mountain News, Hope Hamashige is a Denver-based freelance journalist who has worked with CNN, National Geographic News Magazine and the LA Times, and Rosa Maria Santana is a contributor to the Morning Review who has previously worked for the Chicago Tribune, Riverside Press- Enterprise and was recently with the National Association of Hispanic Journalists. They discussed media coverage of the presidential election leading up to the Democratic National Convention.
