Friday: A Teach-In on Haiti.  Haiti is being described by the mass media as a "failed state", and the abject poverty and the lack of any real infrastructure is now broadcast around the world, however little is known or being reported about Haiti's history and the present day context. 

Panelists are: Professor Bellegarde-Smith whose family's history in Haiti goes back to the Haitian Revolution of 1804; Guyana based Andaiye, the best known woman activist in the Caribbean region, and our Friday roundtable regular Professor Gerald Horne.
