A direct experience through your senses, giving voice to something the majority of the public is less informed about, which is Bhangra music. ON CONTACT seeks to create a forum in which all of this music can be enjoyed and heard. The show gives a voice and space to all of the talented women who have played a vital role in the musical cultures of dancehall, reggae, afrobeat and hip-hop in the past and present, especially within the Los Angeles community.
