Radio Intifada will be discussing the economy of the Gulf; the brave

call by Turkish academicians for an apology for Armenian genocide,

and news updates on Gaza and Israeli war crimes.

Part I: The Economy of The Gulf

With the current financial debacle that has taken hold of our globalized world, the one region affirming its sustainability is the Gulf. We will be joined by Dr. Robert  Springborg, professor in the Department of National Security Affairs at the Naval Postgraduate School who will discuss the financial situation in the Gulf, opportunities for investments in the non-oil sector and the effects of the p political climate on the economy of the region.

Part II: Turkish scholars Call for an apology

200 Turkish Scholars have risked their lives to forward a petition-demanding apology from the Turkish Government for the systematic murder of 1.5 million Armenians in 1915. Dr. Muge Gocek Associate Professor of Sociology and Women’s studies at The University of MIchigan and historian Levon Marashlian will discuss this historic action.
