Even as we organize, demonstrate and sign statements, and as SWANA continues to follow events in Gaza, we urge you to join us in taking a deep breath and enjoying a brief respite.

Join us for this hour long special music show on the first day of the New Year, featuring the eclectic beats put together by DJ Syed.

After this brief, New Years day respite, on Friday, 2nd, Radio Intifada will be hosting another NEWS SPECIAL at 5pm

We will return next week, January 8, 2009 to our usual slot  at 3pm with updates on Gaza, the actions on the streets and in the international courts, and the growing support for a boycott campaign.

Until then, the members of SWANA wish all our listeners a Happy New Year and hope that this next year will be a more peaceful one for us all.
