THE ISRAELI ELECTION - What does it all mean/foretell?

Now that the election is over, with no single party winning enough seats to form a government, what is the next step? and what do the various alternatives mean? Our three guests will help us understand the process for forming a government and the implications both for the Israeli peace movement and the Palestinians (both in 1948 Palestine and the OPT) of the various possible coalitions.

Yigal Arens is a longtime observer of Israeli society and activist in Women in Black
Adi Dagan is an activist in the Israeli women's peace movement
Ashraf Khalil is the LAT correspondent in Jerusalem.

Co-produced and co-hosted by SWANA members Sherna Gluck and Lucy Der-Tawitian

NOTE: Our thank you gifts include DVDs of the recent UCIrvine conference featuring a line up of experts on Middle East politics - $100 for each of the 3 DVDs, or $250 for the 3-pack.
