Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles, April 21-26

The 7th Annual Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles (IFFLA) will take place next week from April 21-26, 2009 at ArcLight Theatres on Sunset and Vine in Hollywood. The IFFLA has a great and diverse line-up this year. Today’s show will highlight and give you a taste of some of the 37 films that will be featured in the film festival.

Avi Sidhu, director and creator, Eyes of Silence, short film

Rajesh Jala, Director,Children of the Pyre, documentary

Sooni Taraporevala, Director, Little Zizou, feature film, comedy on Parsi community of Mumbai and religious fundamentalism

Satish Manwar, director, The Damned Rain, feature film on farmer suicides in India
