Lebanon and Iranian Elections

 
The June 7th parliamentary elections are of vital importance to the region and to the International community. Both secretary of state hiliary clinton and vice president biden have recently visited the country, pledging their support for the President Suleiman and the March 14th coalition which is running against Hezbollah.  Sergey Lavrov, the Russian Foreign minister.also paid a visit to the country, where he urged the international community to recognize the results of the elections irrespective of who wins.

Dr. Karim Makdisi, professor of International relations at AUB, Dr. makdisi will help us understand the foreign dynamics of these elections.
