Talking Games in the Levant- Are We Headed

for another War in the Middle East?

Is the ongoing propaganda war between Israel and Hizbollah a prelude to another Israeli aggression against Lebanon?

Senior Israeli officials have accused Syria of re-arming Hizbollah with long range and Scud missiles. Israeli media alleges that US President Barak Obama is worried and is expected to raise Washington’s concerns at a meeting with Prime Minister Harriri next week.

Meanwhile, Hizbollah’s leader Nasrallah warned of retaliation, including attacking Israeli ships if Israel were to impose a blockade on Lebanese port.

Not to be outdone, Syrian President Bashaar Asad condemned what he called “ongoing Israeli threats to ignite wars and undermine the stability in the region,” while urging the West to “break its silence” and hold Israel responsible for its aggressive action.

Are we heading for another war in the Middle East? Why?
