PALESTINE TODAY AND TOMORROW

Current Conditions and Building a Viable Future

In this week’s program, we explore the current conditions in the Occupied Palestinian Territories and discuss how the reality on the ground has transformed occupation into a colonial and apartheid context that renders the “two-state solution” moot.

Our guests include:

Richard Falk, UN Special Rapporteur on Human Rights in OPT. who will discuss his recent and final report to the UN Human Rights Council;

 Miko Peled, Israeli American son of General Matti Peled, who takes “liberal Zionism” to task and argues for a one state solution; and

 Akram Elkurd, Palestinian American, who is one of the organizers of the recent One Democratic State conference.

Produced and hosted by Sherna Berger Gluck

 with news analysis by Hamoud Salhi and Lucy Der-Tavitian
