Syria's Kurdish Question
Today’s Swana Region Radio will be focusing on Syria's Kurdish Question. We will be speaking with Mr. Saif BadraKhan, a Kurdish activist with extensive involvement in Kurdish politics and a lobbyist for Kurds who has extensive political insight into Syrian society and politics, as well as other minorities in Syria. The long running friction between Kurds and Turkey has entered a new Phase, the prospect of having another autonomous Kurdish enclave in Syria is worrying the Turks.
The Kurdish opposition now control a large portion of the Kurdish areas of Syria, the current developments and the Kurdish Regional Government in Iraq is bringing the Kurds together.
What does the future hold for Syria, and throughout the region..
