Our show today features a theatrical production on Egypt titled ‘The Country Within, which will debut on Sept 28 at the Irvine theater. Our guest Dr. Faiza W. Shereen is the play writer of 'The Country Within' and is a literary theorist at the California Sate University Pomona’s English Department. Dr. Shereen is multilingual-speaking and reading 6 languages, which she is fluent in 4. We will talk in depth about her play that has received critical scholarship as well as other published essays she has done. We will also touch on her work as professor and her push for having international education in the curriculum.
