President Obama’s New Cabinet

Appointees, Impact on the SWANA

Regions

Coming off of the heels of Monday’s MLK Jr. Day, which was filled with inauguration events, both the President and Vice President will now remain on for another 4 years. Most of the news cycle since President Obama has been re-elected focus on changes in the cabinet member and other major appointments that have and will continue to become confirmed.  Such changes in President Obama’s tight influential circle become necessary as they offer a shift in second term presidential goals and agenda. Today’s show will discuss the change of foreign policy agenda for the 4 years ahead and its continued laser-like focus and impact on the SWANA regions.

News analysis will also be offered on the countries of Algeria, Mali, Libya and Qatar.

Guest: Bedrabata Pain, an India film producer, screenwriter and director (Chittagong, 2012; and Amu, 2005), and former scientist at Jet Propulsion Laboratory with 87 invention patents.

Produced and Hosted by Sejal Patel, with News Analysis
