AIRDATE:  3/26/10, 2:30 -3:00pm

GUESTS:

Actor James Cromwell, Playwright Donald Freed

Lorenzo DeStefano, Director Ventura Film Society Festival 2010

There’s a show business adage never to work with children or animals, but for Academy Award and Emmy-nominated Actor James Cromwell (“Babe,” “L.A. Confidential”, “W”, “All in the Family”, “Six Feet Under”, etc.), working with a pig may have been the best career moved ever, with “Babe.” In his current project, he brings his illustrious film and television background of over 35 years to a new politically-charged play by Donald Freed, “The Einstein Plan Revealed, 2% =’s change.”  Albert Einstein’s secret non-violent formula to make us change our ways, in which the audience has an opportunity to participate.  With the subject matter no less than the survival of the human race, Freed presents the case for salvation where we are the Saviors.  Breaking the 4th wall, he invites audience participation to take on a new committed role to activism in the world.

In the second half, Lorenzo DeStefano, talks about the Ventura Film Society’s Festival 2010, some of the film offerings, including an 8-film tribute to Actor/Director Paul Mazursky.
