Over the next two Sundays, Michael Barnes of Melting Pot (Sundays from 4-6pm) and Chuck Foster of Reggae Central (Sundays from 2-6pm) will be pulling double duty, hosting their usual shows as well as filling as guest hosts on each other's shows!
On August 7th, Michael Barnes will host both Reggae Central and Melting Pot, look for the usual mix-up of styles and genres from the past, present and future of music on Melting Pot. On Reggae Central, Barnes will play some of his favorite Jamaican Soul, Ska, Rock Steady, Roots Reggae and Dub tracks from the likes of Johnny Clarke, Phyllis Dillon, King Tubby and more.
On August 14th, Chuck Foster will be back on Reggae Central bringing you the best mix of Jamaican music in the Country, but he'll also be hosting Melting Pot, where he'll dig deep into his record collection to play sounds he'd never be able to on his usual show, classic jazz, soul and rhythm & blues from Fats Domino, Bo Diddley and many others.
