L.A. Theatre Works' Radio Theatre Series will air Buried Child, written by Sam Shepard, directed by Peter Levin, and featuring John Getz, Amy Madigan, Jeff Perry and Madeline Zima. The broadcast can be heard locally in Southern California on Sunday, June 3 from 8 -10 pm on 90.7 FM KPFK, and can also be streamed on demand at www.latw.org.

An unsuspecting young man and his girlfriend return to his ancestral home after six years … only to find that the family he remembers has transformed into something dark and mysterious. Buried Child won the 1979 Pulitzer Prize for Drama. The broadcast includes a conversation with Shepard biographer and theater critic Don Shewey.
