Just in time for Halloween, L.A. Theatre Works’ Radio Theatre Series broadcasts a double feature: The War of the Worlds, written by H.G. Wells, adapted by Howard  Koch, and featuring Leonard Nimoy, John de Lancie, Brent Spiner and Gates McFadden; and The Lost World, written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, adapted by John DeLancie, and featuring Peter Paige, Josh Clark and Kyle Colerider-Krugh. The broadcast can be heard locally in Southern California on Sunday, October 28 from 8 -10 pm on KPFK 90.7 FM in Los Angeles (98.7 FM in Santa Barbara, 99.5 FM in Ridgecrest/China Lake and 93.7 FM in Rancho Bernardo/North San Diego), and can also be streamed on demand at www.latw.org.

Prominent members of the Star Trek universe recreate the classic radio thriller, The War of the Worlds. The broadcast includes a conversation with Leonard Nimoy.

Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s The Lost World is a rollicking adventure that follows a scientific expedition deep into the Amazon jungle – right back into the time of dinosaurs and cavemen. The broadcast includes a featurette on the Dinosaur Hall at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles.
