Friday and Saturday, April 1st and 2nd
As they used to say on Monty Python: "And now for something entirely different." Well, here they are!!! SID HAUSMAN & WASHTUB JERRY......they are coming to Island Bazaar April 1 & 2....
Friday the 1st will be a uke workshop ($15) at 7PM and
Saturday the 2nd will be the big CONCERT ($20) at 8PM.
These fellas play tenor and baritone ukes and Jerry plays the full-size stand-up washtub, sometimes alternating strums with his ukes!!!! Sid has a smoooooth, fabulous voice and they do great SouthWest songs reminiscent of Roy Rogers, Bob Wills, Gene Autry, and the Sons of the Pioneers.
They "transport" their audience to some imaginary corral or campfire and entertain with the coyotes and crickets seemingly singin' along.
Island Bazaar has hosted some great concerts.......but nothing in this wonderful genre.
Y'all come on down and mozy up to the campfire for a special evening.
Call for tix at Island Bazaar.....714 843-9350, 16582 Gothard St., Suite R, Huntington Beach, CA 92647. Levi's and calico dresses are perfectly acceptable attire; but kindly remove yer 10-gallon hats so's folks behind you can see.

"Ukulele Jam With Pumana!"
Basically, the concept is that we will teach the group 3 or 4 songs on
the ukulele. All of the band's PA equipment, amps, mics and instruments will be set up in front of the room. After we teach the class the
songs, the band members will take their positions on stage, count it off and the whole room will jam along live with the band!
Our plan for this Saturday is to teach Stand By Me, Drop Baby Drop, and Hey Soul Sister. We also had a special request to teach the song Happy
Birthday.
