"The Great Militarized Wall through Indigenous Nations along the US/Mexico Border, & Columbus Day Eradication"

Part 1:________________________________________________________________________
Margo Tamez
(Lipan and Jumano Apache Nationslipanapachecommunitydefense.blogspot.com, joins us for the show to discuss how the United States government last week appropriated the remaining El Cabazon Rancheria and surrounding properties in order to continue building the 700-mile security border fence along the United States (Texas)/Mexico border. Continued construction of the security border fence partitions Lipan Apache and other First Nations lands, has resulted in the Department of Homeland Security waiving circa 32 federal statues applicable to Indigenous peoples and their respective First Nations in the name of national security, resulted in ancestors being removed, and heavily constrains Indigenous peoples accessing their traditional lands encompassed on both the US/Mexico border. Margo provides listeners with an update, plus more.

Part 2:________________________________________________________________________
Professor Nicolas Wey-Gomez,
Brown University, joins us for the final segment of the show to discuss the recent decision by the Brown University campus faculty and student body to no longer recognize the "Columbus Day Holiday," the institutional constraints imposed by the federal government, how nation-wide other universities are no longer starting to recognize the "Columbus Day Holiday," and the eradication of the Columbus Mystique.
