Faith Spotted Eagle, Glen Drapeau, and Chris Mato Nunpa discuss the militarization, illegal arrest, and treaty violations that transpired on the morning of April 22nd, 2008 in the Yankton Sioux Nation. Indigenous community members are attempting to prevent the construction, by Long View Farm, of a factory farm facility that will incarcerate over 70,000 pigs per year. The construction of this facility, located within the Yankton Sioux Nation, will render severe, negative, and adverse environmental, health, and sacred site issues.
