Part 2: Pacific Voyages from Many Indigenous Nations, Part 2

Bren Eaton and Elvau (http://www.pacificvoyagers.org/) joins us for part 2of today's show to discuss the cultural significance of the cultural revitalization of Indigenous maritime cultures, the transpacific voyage along the Pacific Rim which started in April, 2011 in New Zealand, and the plurinational and pluricultural internationalism in a period of decolonization. Indigenous people from throughout the Pacific ocean region will be embarking "Home", starting this Saturday January 21, 2012 with a Farewell Ceremony at the Spanish Landing West, San Diego, from 10am to 3pm.
