Ethan McCord, truth teller and war resister. In 2007, Ethan McCord found himself in the middle of the ground war in Baghdad. He walked onto the scene filmed from an Apache helicopter from which 12 Iraqi civilians had been shot to death. Millions saw this attack in the Wikileaks "Collateral Murder." (Search "collateral murder" on YouTube.) Ethan's story of coming to grips with the Army's rules and the loss of civilian life brought him to say, "the thing I couldn't live without in Iraq was my own humanity."
