Cruel and Unusual Punishment in California Prisons; Anti-Abortion Billboards Target Latina Women
Li Onesto, contributing writer to Revolution newspaper, on the U.S. Supreme Court ruling that prison conditions in California constitute cruel and unusual punishment and ordering the state to reduce its prison population of 140,000 by 30,000 people.

They have condemned the "racist and heinous billboard messages slated for California, which use Latinas' wombs as a political battleground to attack our health and dignity."
