The frame-up of Mumia Abu-Jamal began 30 years ago, December 9, 1981. Although officials have announced they will no longer seek to reimpose the death penalty, Mumia should not be in jail at all. Dave Lindorff, author of Killing Time: An Investigation into the Death Row Case of Mumia Abu-Jamal (Common Courage Press, 2003), has spent years investigating how Mumia was framed, and the essential injustice of his conviction and incarceration.
