This week's show is an hour-long conversation with director and documentary filmmaker Eugene Jarecki.
Eugene Jarecki's past documentaries include "Why We Fight," "Reagan," and "The Trials of Henry Kissinger." His most recent film, "The House I Live In," won the Grand Jury Prize, Documentary at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival.
"The House I Live In," exposes the casualties of the US "war on drugs." With 5% of the world's population, the US locks up 25% of the world's prisoners, the majority Black and Latino people, many for nonviolent drug offenses. Jarecki's documentary addresses the question, "Why?"
