Network Concerts, a new web-based TV concert series, which launches this month to bring top-quality free live music to music fans all over the world features the John Beasley Jazz Circle on Thursday, January 28.  
Composer and pianist, John Beasley, who has played with a who’s who in the music world, including Miles Davis, Steely Dan, Christian McBride, Chaka Khan, Freddie Hubbard, and James Brown, among others, will play ORIGINAL music spanning his solo recording career from his critically acclaimed first release, Cauldron, to his latest release Positootly, which has been on the jazz charts for four consecutive months since its release in September 2009.
“I have a fan base all over the world from touring for over 25 years. It’s exciting to me that my concert at Vitello’s will be webcast so music fans from America to Zimbabwe can turn on their computers and see and hear us in real time.  It’s also exciting for the people sitting at the Vitello’s club to know that they will be enjoying the music along with people from all corners of the U.S. and the world.” remarks John Beasley.

The band will feature Oscar Seaton (drummer with Lionel Ritchie, George Benson, Ramsey Lewis, Grover Washington, Dave Sanborn), Ian Martin (bassist with Ronny Jordan, Dave Koz, Chuck Loeb, En Vogue), Bob Sheppard (sax with Chick Corea, Freddie Hubbard, Randy Brecker) and special guest Dwight Tribble (vocals).
