Playwright Kenneth Lonergan is known for his works which explore complex emotional and interpersonal dynamics. He is also the recipient of numerous awards, including an Oscar, BAFTA, three Golden Globes, a Pulitzer Prize, Laurence Oliviier Award and three Tony Awards. He directed the much acclaimed film "Manchester by the Sea," for which he also won the Oscar for Best Screenplay, and wrote the screenplay for the Oscar nominated "You Can Count On Me," starring Laura Linney and Mark Ruffalo.
