"Grief can be the garden of compassion. If you keep your heart open through everything, your pain can become your greatest ally in your life's search for love and wisdom."
— Rumi
Grief is one of Life's most difficult trials. It sucks the wind from us, so we can scarcely breathe. It makes us feel so heavy we can barely stand. It feels as if we're about to be crushed, if not devoured by it.
But there are teachers, counselors, and various support groups for those who grieve. And occasionally, a book comes along that's filled to the brim with insight, understanding, and sage advice for how to cope with loss and grief.
One such book has just been published — "Different After You" by Michele Neff Hernandez. She is our guest in this week's Ageless Wisdom Show on KPFK-90.7 FM for all of Southern California and live-streaming for the world.
The Ageless Wisdom Mystery School program is heard every Tuesday at 1:00 PM Pacific on KPFK-90.7 FM for all of Southern California. It also live-streams for the world at www.KPFK.org (20-hrs summer / 21-hrs winter, UTC) and is podcast on all podcatchers and player apps.
You can also hear each week's show stream on-demand from our YouTube channel or the show's website at TheAgelessWisdom.com, where you can also download the Mp3 simply by clicking on the three vertical dots at the right side of the built-in audio player.
