First, Alejandro Banuelos will share the biweekly CHECK THE SHERIFF COALITION update; then, Civil Rights Attorney & Activist CYNTHIA ANDERSON BARKER will walk us through a new report from the County’s Office of Inspector General exposing LA Sheriff’s Department’s unlawful conduct at a National Lawyers Guild press conference. In our second half-hour, Co-Founder and Publisher of LA Progressive SHARON KYLE will explain proposals and debates surrounding reparations for African Americans, including those coming out of California’s new task force. With Co-Hosts Jim Lafferty and Maria Hall.
