One of the great American playwrights, comedic master Neil Simon, wrote more than 30 plays, as well as numerous film adaptations of his plays. He won multiple Tony Awards, as well as a Golden Globe Award, four Oscar nominations and four Emmy Awards nods. He is a Kennedy Center honoree, and was awarded both the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 1991 and Mark Twain Prize for American Humor. His plays are regularly revived on Broadway and are a favorite in regional theatre throughout the country.
