Sunday June 18th come out to Africa Town in Leimert Park for the Juneteenth Independence Revolution Commemoration. Join in the national #WaveofFreedom where Black people across the country will stand in solidarity to demand reparations for Black American descendants of slavery
Bring your dad to be a part of the Honor Thy Fathers Ceremony which will acknowledge dozens of Black fathers in the community. See performances from some of LA's top local artists. Shop with a variety of local Black merchants selling food, clothes, art & more
Sunday June 18th from 11am to 6pm at Africa Town in Leimert Park, Vernon and Crenshaw Blvd. The Juneteenth Independence Revolution is brought to you by Africa Town Enterprise, the African Village Vendors Association at Leimert Park, Black Lives Matter LA, Downtown Crenshaw & Destination Crenshaw.
