The Los Angeles Youth Orchestra presents "We Hold These Truths to Be Self-Evident" — an all-American program featuring the Roy Harris Third Symphony, the world premiere of Russell Steinberg's "Self-Evident" for orchestra and spoken chorus, plus works by Copland, Sousa, Gould, Ives, and William Grant Still. Performed by accomplished student musicians ages 8–18, conducted by Russell Steinberg and Jorge Padrón. Parking at 333 Civic Center Drive ($5).
