    A special fund drive edition of "Pacifica Performance Showcase" and "Arts in Review." Comedian Fritz Coleman joins host Julio Martinez to talk about his show "Unassisted Residency" continuing at the El Portal Theatre. In the second half, Director Barbara Miller joins host Donna Walker to discuss her enlightening documentary on the Dalai Lama, "Wisdom of Happiness" (Executive produced by Richard Gere) with insights and step-by-step ways for us to individually and collectively cope with stress and the modern world in these challenging times. When Yasmeen asks Dr. Royston for an important favor, it sets off a series of events that challenges their core beliefs about science, faith and the nature of love. Includes a conversation with playwright Laura Maria Censabella.

    Phil and Ted welcome Writer/Producer/Director Jay Kogen, who has worked on many TV shows, including “The Single Guy”; “Ned & Stacey”; “Frasier”; “Malcolm In The Middle”; “Everybody Loves Raymond”; “The George Lopez Show”; & most recently the new reboot of “Frasier. ” He also wrote for several movies, including The Cat In The Hat”; “The Spy Who Shagged Me“; “Madagascar”; “Shrek II”; “Shark Tales”; “Shrek III”; “Super Hero!”; “Starship Dave”; Jay has 15 Emmy Nominations and has won the award 4 times. He was also voted “most likely to drop his pants on a dare” in high school.

Joining hosts Donna Walker and Julio Martinez are actress CASSIDY SLEDGE starring in "DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS: TWENTY-FIVE SIDED TAVERN”, where gaming, theatre, and improv meet, currently playing at the Ricardo Montalban Theatre; Actress/singer/comedienne Jane Lynch ("Glee"," "Best in Show," "Mighty Wind") on her upcoming show at Broadstage, Dec 17th “A SWINGIN’ LITTLE CHRISTMAS" also starring Kate Flannery ("The Office"); and Filmmaker MOHAMMADREZA AYNI on his powerful documentary (co-directed with Sarah Khaki) “CUTTING THROUGH ROCKS," centering around Sara Shahverdi, the first elected female council member of her very conserative village. a remarkable, fearless motorcycle-riding, pants-wearing woman challenging the patriarchy and power structure to empower young girls and women.
