One of the world's most renowned playwrights, David Hare has received many awards including two Olivier Awards, three Tony Awards, two Oscars, two BAFTA's and two Golden Globes, among other accolades. Among his best known works are "Plenty" (adapted into a film starring Meryl Streep), "Skylight," "Map of the World," "Pravda" (starring Anthony Hopkins), and "Straight Line Crazy" (starring Ralph Fiennes), while his latest "Montauk" is set to be produced by Manhattan Theatre Club in 2027.
